San Ramon athletic directors tend to book a SPAB bus for the moment class ends, which leaves almost no margin. If a game starts across the valley at four, the bus should already be parked when the bell rings. Tell us the release time, the loading area and where the team gathers. Getting students on board calmly is the biggest thing you control on game days.

Nearly everything depends on I-680, and Bollinger Canyon and Crow Canyon are the main exits that back up when office parks let out. Dougherty Valley campuses sit well east of the freeway, so allow time for that extra stretch along Bollinger. Westbound trips still need the Caldecott by way of CA-24, while Sacramento runs head north. Check your campus's bus lane against the parent line. Our Hayward yard is about 30 minutes away by I-580 and I-680.
| Destination | Plan for |
|---|---|
| Blackhawk Museum | A short drive through Danville; confirm where buses unload at the plaza. |
| Lindsay Wildlife Experience | Straight up I-680, making it a fairly easy half-day for lower grades. |
| Lawrence Hall of Science | Through the Caldecott, then uphill; we check route and bus size first. |
| California State Capitol in Sacramento | A long, early day; confirm the tour first and send lunch plans. |
Under California Vehicle Code 546, a school pupil activity bus is a vehicle other than a schoolbus that a carrier runs under contract with a school, taking pupils in 12th grade or below to or from a public or private school activity.
Vehicle Code 12517 calls for a license endorsed for passenger transportation, and the driver's certificate comes from the DMV.
Ask us for any of these when you book. Our drivers are our own employees, and every bus has lap-and-shoulder belts.

Send the full schedule in one list, including start times and field addresses. We will return a quote for the set and point out games that look tight after the bell.
Somewhere clear of the parent line and visible from where students gather. Describe your campus lanes, and we will agree on a position before the first trip.
Yes. They sit along the freeway to the north, so extra stops are usually easy. List each address and student count so the timing shows up correctly.
